Dr. Stryker

My name is Dr. Jeanne Stryker. I am a board certified interventional radiologist oncologist. I started my medical career as a RN at UCSD San Diego in labor and delivery. I realized early on that being a nurse was going to be my first step to becoming a doctor. That came to reality when I completed my medical degree at Albany Medical College in 1992. In addition, I have done:

  • —Diagnostic radiology residency at Dartmouth.
  • —Pediatric radiology at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
  • —Fellowships in Women's Imaging and Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Medical University of South Carolina.

The best part of my practice is getting to destroy cancer. It’s truly my passion. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Thank you for visiting my website. I am here to help you Stryke Back at cancer.

What can live at 40° below zero? Cryoablation is a process where small probes are placed directly into the tumor using imaging guidance. Argon gas, which is lethal to cancer, is administered through the probes, super freezing the tumor and destroying the cancer cells.

Cryoablation is an outpatient procedure which is life-saving. The other benefit is it is repeatable.

Eight to ten minutes after Cryoablation, when the tumor is thawing to a slushy state, Immunotheraphy is administered.
